Vancouver, BC (February 26, 2025) – PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is proud to announce that its Integrated Construction Technology team has been awarded a 2024 Revizto Collaborator of the Year Award for Innovation in Collaboration. The honour was presented at the recent RevUP 2025 Conference (Revizto’s Global User Conference) in Washington D.C.
The award is in recognition of the team's groundbreaking approach to leveraging Revizto, a Building Information Modeling (BIM) collaboration platform, to mitigate risk and reduce costly rework at an administration and maintenance complex project in Sparwood, British Columbia.
The project posed a unique challenge for PCL. The team was tasked with securing more than 300 steel plates and 4000 units of racking with more than 15,000 anchors to drill, requiring extreme precision to prevent damage to radiant heating lines below the concrete slab. The innovative approach involved a multi-step solution integrating various technologies, including Revizto, Drone photogrammetry and GPR Scanning to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the construction process.
