With his strategic thinking and well-rounded business acumen, coupled with his commitment to PCL’s core values, Marc builds open, trusting relationships with clients, consultants and trade contractors within the industry.

Marc brings an avid passion for construction, a knack for entrepreneurship and over 21 years of experience in a vast number of leadership roles to his current position as regional vice president, with executive oversight of PCL’s Greater Toronto Area and global Solar operations.

Beginning his construction journey as a civil engineering student with PCL, Marc recognizes the impact youth have in the construction industry and is committed to coaching young and aspiring construction professionals to success. He is a strong advocate for mentorship and PCL’s student program. 

Throughout his career, Marc has continuously progressed in successive leadership roles across Canada, beginning in Ottawa. In 2013, Marc relocated to Calgary to lead the district’s Special Projects division, followed by a promotion to operations manager. In 2018, he relocated to Toronto as district manager on Toronto’s three-person district management team, with continuing increased responsibility leading him to vice president, to his most recent role as senior vice president and district manager, responsible for PCL’s Toronto-area operations.

Identifying problems and influencing change is what makes Marc a leader at PCL. Marc goes beyond his day-to-day responsibilities to create equal opportunities for his colleagues and strives to inspire those around him to make a lasting impact on our organization and the community.

With a specialty in AFP/P3 and EPC projects, Marc has been responsible for some of PCL’s most significant building projects across Canada, as well as supporting the growth of our solar operations across Canada, the United States and Australia.

Marc holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, is a Canadian Construction Association (CCA) Gold Seal certified project manager and was recognized as a Top 40 Under 40 in Canadian Construction in 2020.

He was the Ottawa district winner of the Robert Stollery Construction Leadership Award in both 2008 and 2010, and received the Ross Grieve Excellence in Leadership Award in 2013. These awards are given out by PCL to recognize exemplary leadership qualities and contributions to the growth of the PCL family of companies.
