Whether at sea or on shore, Dalhousie University provides its research team with the ultimate portable work space, constructed entirely from 20-foot sea shipping containers. Along with several movable laboratories, the Ocean Excellence Centre includes four large tanks for large-scale experiments in fresh or seawater.

The center’s world leading experts and innovators span five continents and bring their own unique expertise to increase marine studies. 

Because of the project’s accelerated timeline to meet tenant lease agreements, we created a plan that included double work shifts and six-day work weeks for a six-month period. The rigorous schedule plus the hardworking project team resulted in a successful project completion.
