Lake Nona Town Center Office Building II is a Class-A, WELL-certified facility that provides more than just a place to work – it offers a thoughtful environment designed to nurture and sustain hundreds of working professionals in Central Florida. Class-A office buildings are considered best-in-class in terms of construction and building infrastructure. Boasting 155,000 square feet on six stories, the building was constructed with the intention of optimizing light, movement, air, water and sound to maximize the health and wellbeing of building users. The project scope included the building core and shell with the interior fit-out of the main lobby, elevator lobbies, stairwells and restrooms. Associated site work for the project included adjacent roadwork, surface parking, utilities and area development. The project scope included the building core and shell with interior fitout of the main lobby, elevator lobbies, stairwells, restrooms and the installation of a custom sculpture - and artist-commissioned piece imported from overseas. As the project progressed, the owner initiated the process of leasing office space to tenants. We assisted the client by resequencing the construction schedule to expedite the build-out of three of the building’s six floors, which allowed for the floors to be leased earlier than originally planned. In addition, the construction of a parking garage adjacent to the office building was being completed by another contractor, and the team managed the sitework for both projects, tying new roadways to the existing roadways of a nearby hotel. By remaining flexible and adaptable, PCL was able to deliver the client innovative solutions that resulted in an optimized, wellness-focused office environment for the client and the building’s users.
