Rayos del Sol Solar is a 241-megawatt DC photovoltaic (PV) power station located in Cameron County, Texas. As the engineering, procurement and construction contractor, PCL was responsible for engineering design of the facility; supply and installation of piles; tracker, module and inverter installation; surveying; civil work; fencing; foundations; and electrical work and substation construction.
At 1,800 acres in size, Rayos del Sol is the second largest solar project to date in the United States and generates enough power for more than 34,000 homes.
