The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, is known for its luxury and elegance. Located along Florida’s Atlantic Coast, Amelia Island’s 13 miles of stunning white beaches make it the perfect oasis. The resort has undergone several renovations to maintain its status as a premier destination and provide guests with the ultimate getaway experience.

PCL Construction has served as the general contractor for multiple renovations and upgrades to the luxury, 5-Diamond resort property. This has included the addition of a new 12,000 square-foot ocean front ballroom, as well as the renovation of 450 guest rooms and suites, the lobby and bar and Salt restaurant.

The ballroom addition provides an additional 12,000 square feet of meeting and event space to the resort, built strategically on top of an existing parking structure. The guestroom renovation consisted of updating the rooms with modern furnishing and décor while maintaining the original coastal elegance. Some guest rooms were reconfigured to maximize ocean views and provide a more spacious feel. The renovation of the lobby and bar offers guests a more inviting and stylish entrance, along with a seaside dining room, a lower lounge, and a sushi counter. Finally, PCL converted the former Grille restaurant into the resort’s signature AAA 5-Diamond restaurant, Salt, which embraces a modern Floridian theme.

For over 15 years, PCL has been a partner in The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island’s vision to illuminate the island’s beauty and bring its serene atmosphere indoors.
