Cobra’s Curse® at Busch Gardens® Tampa Bay is an Egyptian archeological excavation-themed attraction complete with a live snake exhibit, an 80-foot simulated cobra and a spinning roller coaster ride. The attraction tells the story of the Cobra’s Curse in an immersive and interactive experience.

The theming team designed and built an 80-foot custom-sculpted fiberglass snake that serves as the centerpiece for the attraction. The custom head is over 18 feet tall and features custom acrylic eyes and fangs that the guest comes face-to-face with at the start of the ride. The base features over 2,000 square feet of custom rockwork which ties together the base of the snake with the landscape.

Along with the iconic snake at the center of the attraction, the theming team also completed the theme painting, a custom rockwork entry sign at the front of the attraction, and theming for the ride queue, loading and unloading buildings.
